Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Zhiliu OCR at zhiliuocr.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Description of Service

Zhiliu OCR provides AI-powered optical character recognition (OCR) for classical Chinese documents. You upload PDF or DJVU files, and we return machine-readable markdown text. The service includes optional text cleanup and formatting.

Credits and Payments

The service operates on a credits system. New accounts receive 50 free credits. Additional credits may be purchased through Stripe. Credit costs: Simple mode (0.75 credits/page), Complex mode (1 credit/page). Credits are non-refundable except for processing failures, in which case credits are automatically refunded.

User Content

You retain ownership of all documents you upload. By uploading a document, you grant us a limited license to process it solely for the purpose of providing the OCR service. We do not claim any ownership rights over your content.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer or extract our AI models; (c) share your account credentials; (d) use automated scripts to abuse the service; (e) upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.

Intellectual Property

The Zhiliu OCR service, including its design, code, and AI prompts, is owned by the operator. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without written permission.

Disclaimer

OCR results are provided "as is" and may contain errors. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of OCR output against the original documents. Zhiliu OCR does not guarantee 100% accuracy of text recognition.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zhiliu OCR shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for credits in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
